Lakers win Turtle Creek Classic

Glen Lake baseball found it's groove on the artificial turf of the Traverse City Pitspitters at Turtle Creek Stadium on Saturday with a pair of wins over Suttons Bay and Harbor Spring. In the morning game, Glen Lake took on rival Suttons Bay and won 8-2 behind a 13-strikeout performance by senior Cooper Bufalini.

Houtteman wins tournament; Leland ties GL

Glen Lake junior Michael Houtteman proved he is one of the prep golfers on the high school circuit as he finished first in a field of 216 golfers at the TCC Golf Invitational hosted by Crystal Mountain on Friday and Saturday.
