Regular Meeting Minutes
Synopsis for 2/11/2010
Supervisor Lautner opened meeting at 7:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance.
All Board members were present.
There were 4 guests in attendance.
The following actions were taken by the Board:
Approved agenda with one item added to New Business.
Meeting minutes from 01/14/2010 were approved as presented.
All correspondence was reviewed.
Approved the Solon Township and the Fire Department payment of vouchers as presented.
The Township Assessor explained the De’Angelis tax tribunal.
Approve to hire the Township Attorney for a maximum of five hours to write a short brief as an appeal determining the repayment of the $29,825.68 received from the S2 Grant funding for the sewer project.
A permit with a fee of $500.00 will be submitted to the DEQ before the work can be completed on Vlack’s Pond.
BATA will install an enclosure for bus pick up in Cedar as soon as one becomes available with no cost to the Township.
All Official salaries remained as last year, so a salary resolution was not adopted.
The Township Budget meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.
The Township Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M.
Approved to have the regular Township Board meetings on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. unless otherwise noted.
Approved to make an offer on the Depot building in the village of Cedar with contingencies.
Approved that the Depot’s purchase agreement is subject to Township Attorney review, approval and authorization.
