Board Proceedings
A regular meeting of the Township Board was held on Feb. 8, 2010 at 7:00p.m. The Board conducted a public hearing on the proposed wineries ordinance and then approved the following:
• Winery ordinance to be reviewed by Attorney Young and tabled until the March 8 meeting.
• Greilickville Harbor Park promenade options added to the special Feb. 22 meeting agenda.
• Lot split request within La Riviera subdivision referred to the Planning Commission for processing.
• Proposed Park Ordinance and Pavilion Rental Policy to be placed on Feb. 22 agenda.
• Proposed Phragmites Ordinance to be place on Feb 22 agenda.
• Authorization of payment of $1631.22 to Consumers Energy for work at the Greilickville Harbor Park.
• Planning Commission directed not to undertake Master Plan review until 2011.
• Acceptance of the mission statement for the Public Safety Committee.
• Payment of invoices in the amount of $121,605.26.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:02 p.m.
A special meeting was held on Feb. 22, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The Board introduced the proposed Phragmites Control Ordinance and the Park Regulation Ordinance and scheduled public hearings on both ordinances for Mar. 8, 2010 starting at approximately 7:00 p.m. The zoning ordinance work session was tabled until the March special meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
