MORTGAGE SALE – Default has been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage made by:
Casey P Schaub and Tina Schaub, Husband and Wife as Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship
to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., solely as nominee for Countrywide Home Loans, Inc., Mortgagee, dated November 13, 2006 and recorded November 17, 2006  in Liber  921 Page 840  Leelanau County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage was subsequently assigned to: BAC HOME LOANS SERVICING, LP FKA COUNTRYWIDE HOME LOANS SERVICING LP, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of Two Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Six Hundred Seven Dollars and Seventy-Eight Cents ($295,607.78) including interest 2.5% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, Circuit Court of  Leelanau County at 11:00AM on March 5, 2010.
Said premises are situated in Township of Elmwood, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as: Parcel 10:
That part of the Northeast quarter of Section 36, Town 28 North, Range 12 West, Elmwood Township, Leelanau County, Michigan, described as: Commencing at the East quarter corner of said section; thence North 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds West, along the East line of said Section and centerline of County Road 616, 1328.41 feet to the North eighth line of said section; thence South 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds West, along said eighth line, 771.06 feet to the point beginning; thence continuing South 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds West 265.96 feet; thence South 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds East, 254.06 feet; thence North 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds East 265.96 feet; thence North 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds West 254.06 feet to the point of beginning.
Subject to and together with a 66-wide easement for ingress and egress and the installation and maintenance of public and private utilities over and across part of the Northeast quarter of Section 36, Town 28 North, Range 12 West, which the centerline is described as: Commencing at the East quarter of corner of said section; thence North 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds West, along the East line of said section 565.53 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds West, along said centerline 218.00 feet; thence 169.38 feet along said centerline on the arc of a 279.00 foot radius curve to the right (long chord=North 74 degrees 45 minutes 41 seconds West, 166.79 feet); thence 169.38 feet
along said centerline on the arc of a 279.00 foot radius curve to the left (long chord=North 74 degrees 45 minutes 41 seconds West, 166.79 feet); thence along said centerline the following five courses: South 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds West, 498.92 feet; South 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds East, 332.73 feet; North 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds West, 995.85 feet; North 87 degrees 50 minutes 46 seconds East, 564.93 feet; South 01 degree 08 minutes 38 seconds East, 632.10 feet to the point of ending.

The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCL 600.3241 or MCL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale, or upon the expiration of the notice required by MCL 600.3241a(c), whichever is later.
