MORTGAGE SALE – Default has been made in the conditions of a certain mortgage made by:
Brian M Johnson and Annette Johnson, Husband and Wife as Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship
to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., solely as nominee for Countrywide Mortgage Ventures, LLC dba SRC Mortgage, Mortgagee, dated January 18, 2008 and recorded January 24, 2008  in Liber 966 Page 365  Leelanau County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage was subsequently assigned to: BAC HOME LOANS SERVICING, LP FKA COUNTRYWIDE HOME LOANS SERVICING LP, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Forty Dollars and Forty-Four Cents ($135,540.44) including interest 6% per annum.
Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public vendue, Circuit Court of  Leelanau County at 11:00AM on March 5, 2010.
Said premises are situated in Township of Elmwood, Leelanau County, Michigan, and are described as:  Parcel 1: Part of the Northeast one quarter of Section 5, Town 28 North, Range 11 West, more fully described as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 5; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 1253.46 feet along the East line of said Section 5 to the point of beginning; thence continuing South 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 140.06 feet along said East line; thence South 76 degrees 34 minutes 37 seconds West, 232.14 feet; thence North 01 degree 46 minutes 13 seconds East, 102.60 feet; thence North 67 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds East, 240.48 feet to the point of beginning.
Together with a 33.00 foot wide easement for ingress and egress and the installation and maintenance of public utilities described as: The North line of said easement is more fully described as being the South line of Lot 1 of the recorded Plat of Hillside Acres (recorded in Liber 2 of Plats, Page 640).
Together with and subject to a non-exclusive 33.00 foot wide easement for ingress/egress and installation and maintenance of public and private utilities, the centerline of which is described as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said section; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 1253.46 feet along the East line of said Section 5 to the Point of Beginning of said centerline; thence South 67 degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds West, 240.48 feet to the Point of Ending of said 33.00 foot wide easement centerline.
Together with and subject to a non-exclusive 33.00 foot wide easement for ingress/egress and installation and maintenance of public and private utilities, the East line of which is described as: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 5; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 1253.46 feet along the East line of said Section 5 to the point of beginning; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 45 seconds East, 140.06 feet to the point of ending of said East line.
Parcel 2: An undivided 1/30 interest in the following described lands: Commencing at the intersection of the South line of Government Lot 1 and the centerline of Highway M-22; thence North 28 degrees 54 minutes 00 seconds East, 454.86 feet; thence North 23 degrees 24 minutes 00 seconds East, 317.49 feet; thence South 75 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds East, 55.00 feet to the Easterly right of way line of Highway M-22; thence on a short chord of a curve to the right (R=1637.00 feet) South 19 degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds West, 25 feet to the point of beginning; thence continuing on said chord South 19 degrees 29 minutes 20 seconds West, 125.00 feet; thence South 75 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds East, 18.31 feet to the shore of Grand Traverse Bay; thence along said North 32 degrees 47 minutes 40 seconds East, 130.85 feet; thence North 75 degrees 02 minutes 00 seconds West, 48.24 feet to the Point of Beginning. Including all land lying between the above described parcel and the water edge of Grand Traverse Bay. Located in Government Lot 1, Section 4, Town 28 North, Range 11 West.

The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCL 600.3241 or MCL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale, or upon the expiration of the notice required by MCL 600.3241a(c), whichever is later.
