Mary E. Gotshall
1924-2010
A memorial service will be announced at a later date for longtime Leland summer resident Mary Ellen Gotshall, who died Feb. 15 in Florida. She was 86.
Born in 1924, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Gotshall.
She was a world traveler, a longtime member of the Goodwill organization, and a philanthropist who supported the Fishtown Preservation Society and the Leelanau Conservancy among other ventures.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen (William) Daneluk; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas (Susan) Gotshall.
